Gambian leader Yahya Jammeh has rejected the result of the presidential election held last week after admitting defeat. Mr. Jammeh’s decision was based on what he termed ‘abnormalities’ in the recent Gambian election. In a reversal of his acceptance of the result last week, Jammeh cited “abnormalities” in the vote and called for fresh elections.
