A Lagos Federal High Court on Wednesday issued a summon directing a firm, Wallenship Nigeria Limited, it’s managing director, Prince Oladele Akinola, aka Alhaji Abubakar and one Temitope Obe, a.k.a. Alhaji Ibrahim, to appear before it over alleged N680 fraud. Senate passes bill seeking to impose death penalty on drug traffickers

The Senate has approved President Muhammadu Buhari’s revised submission of the 2022-2024 Medium Term Expenditure Framework. The revised submission was received and referred to the Committee on Finance on Tuesday for expeditious consideration ahead of Thursday’s budget presentation to the National Assembly by President Buhari. Operatives of the Police command in Lagos state have apprehended a 20-year old man who allegedly raped a minor on October 1. It was gathered that the suspect, Ayo Adenupebi, a resident of Ise town, Akode, lives on the same street with the victim. The rapist was arrested by the police after a formal report was filed by the victim’s father. Adenupebi met his waterloo when the victim’s elder sister noticed blood stains on her thigh. Police, DSS operatives nab suspected vote buyer with N25.9m cash in Kaduna

An officer of the Department of State Services (DSS) has been reportedly killed in Owerri, the capital of Imo state. The DSS operative identified as Prince Nwachinaemere Ezemuonye Ozuzu, from Umuoyo, Irete in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State was shot dead on Owerri-Onitsha Road.
