The Central Bank of Nigeria should convert the country’s lower currency notes into coins to facilitate “highly repetitive” retail transactions, the Senate said Tuesday. Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has sought approval of the National Assembly to include the Development Bank of Nigeria and Fund for Agricultural Finance in Nigeria into the 2019-2018 external borrowing plan. The “world’s first operational Robocop” started its tour of duty Sunday in Dubai, the first in the emirate’s planned robot police force, according to the Daily Mirror. Wacken Open Air – the world’s biggest heavy metal festival, which takes place in northern Germany every summer – will be serviced by a beer pipeline this year, organizers said on Tuesday.
