Researchers say a daily glass alcoholic beverage might increase the risk of breast cancer. This is according to a new report by the World Cancer Research Fund and the American Institute for Cancer Research. The report, released on Wednesday, says that an average of 10g of alcohol a day is associated with a five per cent risk increase of breast cancer in pre-menopausal women and nine per cent in post-menopausal women. Mr Fatai Owoseni, Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, on Tuesday confirmed the arrest of two suspects over the alleged killing of an Inspector and two civilians in Ibeju-Lekki. Justice Rifkatu Sha of Jos High Court on Tuesday warned an accused person, Tasiu Mohammed, 21, against threatening witnesses testifying against him.
