The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) has promised to support Babcock University establish insurance department in the institute, as part of its commitment to increasing the industry’s manpower with new generation of Nigerian youths. Arik Air Limited has filed a N20 billion suit against the Federal Government and Ethiopian Airlines over recent claims in the media that they were negotiating the takeover of the airline. Nigeria on Saturday said it had foiled Boko Haram plans for a coordinated series of attacks across the country, as the army slammed claims of security failings and that the militants were resurgent. The police command in Niger says it arrested 22 suspected criminals, recovered 415 cows and seven cars in the state between July and September.
