An eighth woman has come forward with claims that former US president George HW Bush groped her. An interpreter, whom the BBC has agreed not to name because of the sensitive nature of her job, claims Mr Bush touched her inappropriately in 2004. The alleged incident took place at a meeting between the former president and the Spanish defence minister Jose Bono Martinez. A pediatric doctor, Dr Juliet Ochi, has urged mothers and caregivers to avoid the use of medicated soap in washing the genitals of their female babies to prevent infection. Ochi, a doctor at the Enugu State Teaching Hospital (ESUTH), gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Enugu. The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, has asked the Federal High Court, Abuja to dismiss a suit, seeking to compel him to produce the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor on Thursday brought an application before the court, praying court to order Buratai to produce Kanu dead or alive. US Senator Al Franken has apologised to a woman who alleged that he groped her as she slept and “forcibly” kissed her in a rehearsal for a comedy skit. A cameraman with the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Mr Ikechukwu Onubogu, has been found dead four days after he was declared missing by members of his family. Although the cause of his death remained sketchy, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) gathered that the late Onubogu, who was at home with his wife, was said to have received a phone call in the afternoon on November 12.
