Suspected hired assassins attacked the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Udoh Ekpenyong in his residence at Ikot Oku usung in Ukanafun local government area of the state killing the younger sister. Biyamin was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife, Maryam Sanda, the daughter of embattled former Aso Savings’ boss, Hajia Maimuna Aliyu. Robert Mugabe and his wife has been expelled from ZANU-PF

Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe was fired as leader of the ruling ZANU-PF party, according to senior officials at the party. The Nigeria Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative, (NEITI) said Nigeria exported solid minerals worth 9.733 million dollars and earned N69.2 billion from the sector in 2015. NEITI, on its latest independent audit report of the solid minerals sector released on Sunday in Abuja said it was an increase of 24 per cent on the N55.8 billion earned from the sector in 2014. At least 15 women were killed and another 10 people injured during a crush as food aid was distributed in a Moroccan village. Officials said the accident happened in Sidi Boulaalam, 35 miles from Essaouira, a popular coastal tourist town in Morocco. Lagos bus conductors to wear uniforms from January 1

The Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN) says that its members in Lagos State will start wearing uniforms from Jan. 1, 2018 for security and effective service delivery.
