A driver simply identified as Samson has been arrested for killing his boss and dumping his body in a septic tank at Ekiadokor area of Ovia North East local government area of Edo State. Two other suspects were also arrested in connection with the killing. It was learnt that Samson sold the vehicle of his boss to an herbalist at Ovbiogie village and told the victim’s children that their father was kidnapped. Egypt’s public prosecutor has filed murder charges against a man accused of killing 11 people in an attack on a Coptic church and a Christian-owned shop in a Cairo suburb last week, judicial sources said. The man, arrested after the Dec. 29 attack, was receiving medical treatment in custody for injuries sustained in an exchange of gunfire with authorities outside the church. Liverpool footballer Jon Flanagan has pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend. The 25-year-old defender appeared at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday accused of kicking Rachael Wall. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB says it generated N12 billion as income in 2017. The registrar of the board, Ishaq Oloyede, said this at a press conference in Ilorin on Monday. The registrar said the board remitted N7.8 billion to the Federal Government after deducting its expenses.
