A group of unidentified gunmen have attacked the University of Abuja, UNIABUJA, staff quarters, abducted unspecified number of members of staff and some of their family members. Six persons were confirmed to have been abducted during the incident. Following the collapse of a 21-storey building in Ikoyi, Lagos state, the owner of the structure has been reportedly arrested by the Lagos State government. The State Government said that the owner was given the approval to construct only 15 floors.
