Maina was sentenced to eight years in jail by Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja. Six persons have been killed after an attack by a group of unidentified gunmen stormed Rijiya village in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital. It was gathered that several women and children were abducted during the attack which left many other residents of the community injured.
