Gunmen have killed two police officers on patrol and abducted six members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna state. At least 28 people have been killed by armed bandits in northern Nigeria, police and local residents said on Friday, in the latest unrest causing security concerns for the government. Twenty-six people lost their lives on Thursday evening when gunmen on motorcycles attacked gold miners in the Anka district of Zamfara state. A Federal high court sitting in Lagos south west Nigeria has dismissed preliminary objection filed by Iroking Limited against N200million copyright infringement suit filed by a renown artiste Onyeka Onwenu. The court however awarded N10,000 against the defendant in favour of Onwenu.
