About 10,000 Nigerians were employed during the construction of the Abuja Light Rail Project, which was recently commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari, while 100,000 more will be directly or indirectly employed when the project begins full operation. A Democratic Senator Jeff Woodburn has been arrested and released for domestic violence charges after he allegedly bit a woman on multiple occasions and forced his way into her locked home. The New Hampshire lawmaker from Whitefield, US, was charged with simple assault, domestic violence and criminal mischief after the state attorney general’s office said he allegedly slapped a woman, punched her in the stomach, bit her hand, and on another occasion, bit her forearm.
