Former Barcelona star Samuel Eto’o was on Saturday elected as President of Cameroon Football Federation for the next four years. The four-time African Footballer of the Year defeated rival Seidou Mbombo Njoya, the fourth vice-president at the Confederation of African Football. Hundreds of people have taken to the streets in several cities in northern Nigeria and the capital, Abuja, demanding action by the authorities to end the worsening violence sweeping through the region.
