Bandits have attacked a hamlet and killed six persons on Saturday in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The attack occured at Fadaman Rimi hamlet a remote settlement near Udawa village in the local government area. One person survived the attack, but the bandits were confirmed to have rustled some cows. The Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, (NFIU) has dismissed a letter making the rounds on social media that insinuated that it is investigating some political actors in the country. The letter claimed that NFIU was going to probe the National Assembly and its leaders including Senate President Ahmad Lawan and Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila.
