The European Union’s Rule of Law And Anti-Corruption  (ROLAC) project, has opened a free Sexual Abuse Referral Centre at Enugwu-Ukwu General Hospital, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra. Dr Bernadette Uchendu, Director of the centre, said it was opened to offer a proper psychological cushion to rape victims in the state. The Tunisian government on Friday said it would allow the country’s late autocrat Zine-Abidine Ben-Ali to be buried in his homeland after his death in exile in Saudi Arabia. Ben Ali died on Thursday at a Saudi hospital at the age of 83, according to his lawyer. The Federal Government is fully aware of he importance of preserving the history of the Nigerian Railway heritage, the Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, has said. Former president of El Salvador, Antonio Saca has been sentenced to two years in prison for bribery, the attorney general’s office said. The 54-year-old was found guilty of attempting to bribe a court employee with 10,000 dollars in a bid to obtain information about a case against him, newspaper La Prensa Grafica reported. The proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has taken what it called the grievances of the Igbo to the United Nations (UN). It said on Thursday that its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, vowed before the UN that Biafra’s case would no longer be ignored. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will support and integrate small holders, subsistent and nomadic herdsmen through its Anchor Borrowers Programme (ABP) to boost livestock production. Two Muslim men in the US have demanded an investigation after they say they were subjected to racial and religious profiling on a flight home to Dallas.
