The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD), Extension Department, has trained 10 extension workers on ginger production. The gesture, in collaboration with Nasarawa Agricultural Development Programme (NADP), was sequel to stepping the training of 200 farmers in the 13 local government areas of the state. An apprentice at a tailoring shop in Lagos, Adenike Fatai, reportedly committed suicide just three months after her boyfriend identified as Bayo Atanda also killed self. The Federal Government on Friday filed seven counts of treasonable felony and money laundering against the Convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Mr Omoyele Sowore. Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters and a presidential candidate in the February 2019 presidential election, is charged along with Olawale Bakare, also known as Mandate. A suspected serial killer, Gracious David-West, 39, arrested by the police has admitted killing at least seven women in hotels in Lagos, Owerri and Port Harcourt. The suspect was arrested on Thursday, following CCTV footage which showed him leaving an unnamed hotel in Port Harcourt after he allegedly killed the lady he slept with the previous night. The Zamfara Police Command has recovered a total of 100 guns from repentant local militia group members in the state. Zamfara Police Command on Friday inaugurated Operation Eagle Eye to check criminal activities in the urban and rural areas of the state. The Anambra Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Anambra state command, has warned its officers and men not to extort money from applicants during the ongoing recruitment in the corps. Mr Godwin Emefiele the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says the implementation of cashless policy in six states of the federation is in public interest to promote an efficient payment system. An unidentified woman has reportedly stolen a two-month-old baby from his mother. It was gathered that the incident occurred this afternoon at the  State Secretariat in Ado Ekiti. An eyewitness revealed that the woman deceived the mother of the infant boy to follow her to the State Secretariat to collect some relief materials being given by government to flood victims.
