The Nigerian Government has arraigned Mr Omoyele Sowore, the convener of #RevolutionNow Protest, before a Federal High Court in Abuja. Sowore, the publisher of online news platform Sahara Reporters, was arraigned on Monday alongside his co-defendant, Mr Olawale Bakare. Nigerian pair Divine Oduduru and Blessing Okagbare have been reprieved after an apparent bureaucratic mix-up and will race in the men’s and women’s 200 metres races respectively at the world athletics championships.
