The Federal Government on Saturday inaugurated a mini milk collection center in Tassa Village in Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area of Kano state. Speaking at the event, the Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Sabo Nanono, said that the center would alleviate the plight of milk sellers and improve their business. Four members of a daring syndicate of internet ‘fraudsters’ have been arrested after they defrauded a 60 year-old American lady using a cloned document of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission as well as the forged signature of its acting chairman, Ibrahim Magu. The fifth scammer worked independently, trying to use Magu’s name to wheedle money out of directors of the Niger Delta Development Commission. No fewer than 40 villages have been sacked by flood in Adamawa, Dr Muhammad Sulaiman, Executive Secretary of Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA) says. Sulaiman said the development followed heavy downpour recorded in the last three days in some parts of the state. ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is believed to have been killed in a raid conducted by the US military in northwest Syria on Saturday, according to a senior US defense official and a source with knowledge.
