President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr (Mrs) Sarah Omotunde Alade, as Special Adviser to the President on Finance and the Economy, domiciled in the Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning. Senate President Ahmad Lawan, has said the Ninth National Assembly will insist on accountability and transparency in the power sector, particularly in the application of funds proposed for it in the 2020 budget. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday laid the foundation of the Catholic Children with Special Needs School, Igbor, near Makurdi in Benue. The school, the first of its kind, is being built by the Catholic Diocese of Makurdi.
