Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola has nominated Justice Foluke Awolalu as the substantive President of the Customary Court of Appeal. NAN reports that the letter, seeking Awolalu’s confirmation, was read at the House of Assembly by the Speaker, Timothy Owoeye. Owoeye said Justice Awolalu was expected to appear before the Assembly for screening. According to him, the governor’s action was in accordance with Section 281(1) of the 1999 Constitution as amended.
