Nine passengers were yesterday burnt to death in an accident involving a Toyota Hiace commercial bus at Ijebu-Ife, along Sagamu-Benin expressway, Ogun State. The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has confirmed the death of a journalist, Mr Maxwell Nashan, attacked by unknown assailants. Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina state has signed an Executive Order restricting the use of motorcycles and tricycles between 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. with effect from January 20.
