The Federal Government has slashed its visa application charges for United States citizens from $180 to $160 days after the launch of Nigeria Visa Policy 2020. NAN reports that the old amount comprised $160 as visa fee and $20 as “processing and expedient fees”. According to the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mr Muhammad Babandede, the reduction followed a review of the US’ visa reciprocity policy for Nigeria. The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on Thursday said that it recovered N77.04 billion worth of stolen assets in 2019. Mrs Rasheedat Okoduwa, spokesperson for the commission disclosed this while briefing newsmen on the activities and achievements of the commission in the year under review. Okoduwa said that the total recovery, both in cash and fixed assets, was made through operations, interim and final forfeitures.
