The US is to extend its European coronavirus travel ban to include the UK and Republic of Ireland. The ban will begin at midnight EST on Monday (04:00 GMT Tuesday), Vice-President Mike Pence announced. President Trump’s travel ban on 26 European countries, members of the Schengen free movement zone, came into force on Saturday. Mr Pence also announced that free coronavirus testing would be provided for every American. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Gombe zonal office on March 13, 2020 secured the conviction of Dr. Dallami Arab Rukuje and Isa Garba before Justice Abubakar Jauro of the Gombe State High Court on a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy, criminal misappropriation, aiding and abetting. Coronavirus cases in Spain have risen by 1,500 to more than 5,700, public health officials say. Spain is the worst affected country in Europe after Italy, which has more than 15,000 cases. A Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Jabi has ordered suspension of the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, pending the determination of a substantive suit. The Judge, Danlami Senchi, gave the order following an application of interlocutory injunction asking the court to suspend him, having been suspended as a member of the APC by the party in Edo State. The application was filed by an applicant, Oluwale Afolabi. Oshiomhole and APC are first and second respondents respectively. Operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested one Obi Sobenna Jude and Robert Sunday Olaoluwa, for defrauding unsuspecting members of the public, through job scam, by posing as foreigners working for American companies on the internet. The intelligence report was received and acted on by the Intelligence and Special Operations Section, ISOS, of the Kaduna zone.
