African Development Bank (AfDB) director in Nigeria, Ebrima Faal, says Nigerians spend about $14 billion on generators and fuel yearly to provide alternative power. Speaking at a stakeholders’ forum in Abuja, Faal said the issue had a negative impact on the power sector. They are Italy-based Dr. Olumide Okunuga and a London-based female medical doctor whose name was not given.
