Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja has granted immediate past Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, HoCSF, Winnifred Oyo-Ita N100m bail in the N570m fraud case against her. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on March 23, 2020 arraigned Oyo-Ita on 18 count charge bordering on fraud and money laundering. The Federal Government of Nigeria has mandated all public servants on grade level 12 and below to stay at home to curtail the spread of COVID-19. The Osun State Government has directed civil servants in the state to stay at home for two weeks as part of precautionary measures to forestall an outbreak of COVID-19. The Secretary to the State Government, Prince Wole Oyebamiji made this known in a statement made available to journalists in Osogbo, Osun capital on Monday night. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced four new case of coronavirus in Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory on Monday. The disease control centre said two of the cases are those of returning travellers to the country. “Four new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Nigeria. The Federal Government of Nigeria on Monday ordered that all land borders in Nigeria be partially shut with immediate effect.
