Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of five coronavirus patient taking the total number of discharged persons to 32. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos announced that another patient was discharged via his official Twitter account on Sunday. League leaders Liverpool are the first top four club in the Premier League club to place some non-playing staff on temporary leave. Staff affected will receive 80% of their salary through the government’s job retention scheme and the club will make up the difference. The decision has been criticised by former Liverpool players Jamie Carragher and Stan Collymore. The authorities in Kenya have arrested a senior government official for refusing to follow quarantine rules after returning to the country from Germany, a country which already had thousands of confirmed cases, last month. Gideon Saburi, the Deputy Governor of coastal Kilifi County, who later tested positive for Covid-19, was forcefully put in isolation for 14 days. He has now fully recovered. More than 100 people were quarantined when Mr Saburi tested positive.
