The Nigerian government has finally lifted the suspension on social media platform, Twitter, in the country after approval by President Muhammadu Buhari. The Nigeria government said the eight month banned will be formally lifted by 12 midnight on 13 January. Former Oyo state governor, Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala has died at the age of 72. The cause of his death cannot be ascertained at the time of reporting as information remains sketchy.
