A lecturer at a Moroccan university accused of giving students good grades in exchange for sex has been sentenced to two years in prison. This is the first verdict in a string of high-profile sexual harassment cases at universities in Morocco. The economics lecturer at Hassan I University in Settat city was convicted of indecent behaviour, sexual harassment and violence. Nigeria telecommunication companies are yet to restore Twitter services after the federal government on Wednesday announced that President Muhammadu Buhari had approved the suspension of the ban. The Nigeria government said the eight month banned will be formally lifted by 12 midnight on 13 January but as at press time, Twitter services are yet to be restored.
