Violence in northwest Nigeria has forced about 23,000 refugees to flee to Niger since April and raised concerns about the deteriorating security situation, the United Nations refugee agency said on Tuesday. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 146 confirmed coronavirus cases in the country on Tuesday. The 146 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed cases to 4787. The NCDC also announced the discharge of 57 patients from isolation centers across the country and eight deaths were also reported.
