The coronavirus “may never go away”, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned. Speaking at a briefing on Wednesday, WHO emergencies director Dr Mike Ryan warned against trying to predict when the virus would disappear. Police in Akwa Ibom State said their anti-child theft Unit has arrested one Dr. Victor Onongha, a medical doctor, for allegedly selling a child. Dr Onongha, attached to the University of Calabar Teaching hospital, was arrested alongside a laboratory scientist, Hope Offor, and 15 others. The Presidency has outlined three priority projects that the Federal Government will spend the recently repatriated $311 million Abacha loot on. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 184 confirmed coronavirus cases in the country on Wednesday. The 184 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed cases to 4971.
