Two teenage girls have been murdered in a so-called “honour killing” in north-west Pakistan following a video circulated on the internet. They are said to have been shot dead by a family member earlier this week in a village on the border of the North and South Waziristan tribal districts. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 176 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Saturday. The 176 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed cases to 5621. The NCDC also announced the discharge of 152 patients from isolation centers across the country and five deaths were also reported. The Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) Worldwide has warned persons and groups agitating for the republic of Biafra to leave the Ijaw nationality out of their missions.
