Grammy-nominated Nigerian star Asake has confirmed that his fourth studio album, M$NEY, will be released on May 1, ending weeks of speculation among fans.
The Afrobeats hitmaker shared the news on social media, posting a cryptic teaser video that hinted at the album’s concept and artwork. The clip features a marble sculpture being crafted in his likeness by Iraqi-Dutch artist Athar Jabar, sparking intrigue and online buzz.
Captioned “M$NEY MAY 1 #MM,” the post quickly gained traction, with fans anticipating another chart-topping project from the singer.
The forthcoming album includes previously released tracks such as Why Love, Badman Gangster, and Worship, a collaboration with global DJ DJ Snake.
M$NEY arrives shortly after Asake’s 2026 joint EP Real Vol 1 with Wizkid, further cementing his prolific run. Remarkably, the new release marks his fourth album in just five years.
Asake first gained widespread attention in 2020 with Lady, before delivering a string of successful albums including Mr Money With The Vibes (2022), Work of Art (2023), and Lungu Boy (2024).
Widely regarded as one of the leading voices in Afrobeats, the singer has earned multiple accolades and international recognition. He was nominated at the Grammy Awards for Best African Music Performance but lost to fellow Nigerian star Tems.
With M$NEY, expectations are high that Asake will continue his dominance on the global music scene.
