Ultimate Love, the24/7 romantic reality television show on DStv and GOtv, has delivered its first surprise with Uche’s voluntarily check out of the Love Pad on Monday.

Uche expressed his dissatisfaction at being coupled up with Chris after the live show. He communicated his dissatisfaction to Aunty and requested to be checked out of the Love Pad immediately.

However, that did not happen as Aunty needed him to be sure of his request. She then gave him 24 hours to reconsider his decision which would also provide time for certain modalities to be put in place.

Nevertheless, Chris was still fixated on leaving and after a brief visit to the Love Pad on Monday night, Aunty gave her consent to his request.

A visibly sad Aunty said this was not what she would have wanted but that the essence of the show was to create a space for couples to find love, willingly. With that said, Uche bade farewell to the love guests and made his way out of the Love Pad.

Meanwhile, the 18 love guests paired up Sunday night according to their wishes are:

    Bolanle and Arnold (BOLAR)

    Iyke and Theresa (IYKERESA)

    Cherry and Michael (MICHERRY)

    Presh Talker and David (PRESHDAVID)

    Obichukwu and Ebiteinye (OBIEBI)

    Nkechi and Jay (JAYKECH)

    Louis and Jenny Koko (JELO)

    Jerry and Sylvia (JERVIA)

    Kachi and Rosie (ROKSIE)

With the couples formed, viewers are keen to see how these budding relationships will play out and which will stand the test of time!
