Nigerian entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has celebrated his daughter Adaeze’s engagement to a woman, publicly describing the couple as his “beautiful Princess and her Husband”.
Charly Boy, also known as Area Fada, shared a video from the engagement on Instagram on Thursday, asking his followers to celebrate the couple with him.
“My beautiful Princess and her Husband. Folks, wish dem well for me,” he wrote.
The engagement was also announced by Adaeze, who shared a photograph with her partner and revealed that they had taken the next step in their relationship.
In another part of the post, Adaeze looked ahead to their life together, expressing excitement about the memories, growth and experiences she hopes they will share.
“Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, growth, and making beautiful memories together. I can’t wait for everything God has in store for us. Forever sounds even sweeter with you,” she wrote.
The public celebration adds another moment to Charly Boy’s long-running openness about his family and his unconventional views on social issues.
