The bail application submitted by social media influencer Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, also known as Blessing CEO, was put on hold as Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, reserved ruling on the application.
The ruling will now be issued on June 9, 2026.
This was stated in a statement posted on the EFCC X site on Friday.
“Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, June 5, 2026, reserved ruling until June 9, 2026, on the bail application filed by social media influencer and relationship therapist Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO.
“Blessing is standing trial on a two-count charge filed by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the EFCC, bordering on obtaining money by false pretense and stealing to the tune of N36 million,” the statement reads.
Blessing, CEO, is on trial on a two-count charge filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 for allegedly collecting and stealing N36 million under false pretense.
The matter was heard on Friday, and the court reviewed arguments on the bail application before choosing to postpone the ruling to a later date.
The EFCC said the accusations come from allegations of financial malfeasance totaling N36 million.
Further proceedings in the case are scheduled to resume when the court rules on the bail motion next week.
