Kuture, the 2025 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, has revealed why he is not keen on becoming the head of house (HoH).

The 27-year-old fashion designer aired his opinion during a recent live session with show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who questioned his reluctance to take on the leadership role until at least “week four” of the competition.

Ebuka had referenced a conversation between him, Tracy, and Denari about their HoH avoidance strategy.

“You, Tracy, and Denari had a conversation where you said you didn’t want to win the HoH because the house is tough,” the BBNaija host said.

“I think you mentioned you wouldn’t want the role until at least week four. Why?”

Responding to the question, Kuture explained he lacked the mental preparedness to assume the head of house duties, citing the position’s demanding responsibilities.

“‎HoH comes with a lot of responsibilities, and I believe it is easier to control animals than humans,” he said.

“I’m not saying the housemates are worse than animals. It’s just my own perspective.

“I’ve noticed that a couple of people also don’t respect the HoH, so it would take a whole lot to be in that position, and I’m not in that mental space right now.”

The BBNaija Season 10 kicked off on July 28 with a two-day opening ceremony.

This year’s winner will take home a staggering N150 million, the highest grand prize in the BBNaija show’s history since its debut in 2006.
