The Senate caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will meet with the national leader of the ruling party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, today at 2:30pm.
This was disclosed by the Senate President Ahmad Lawan in a letter read during the start of plenary on Wednesday.
The letter was signed by the Senate Leader, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi (Kebbi North).
“There will be APC Senate caucus meeting with His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu today, February 16, 2022”, Lawan said.
The meeting is scheduled to hold in the Senate President’s conference room.
Similarly, the House of Representatives caucus of the APC will meet with the former Lagos governor, Asiwaju Tinubu at 3:30pm after the meeting with senators.
According to Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke, the meeting was rescheduled to allow the lawmakers partake in plenary.
“Due to some exigencies and with the approval of the leadership, Bola Tinubu, will now meet with the APC Reps Caucus at NASS committee room 0:28 today by 3:30pm as against the earlier schedule.
“This is to make it easier for Hon Members after sitting. All APC members are kindly advised of this change,” he said.
