No fewer than three people were injured after a woman, who was being detained, stole a gun from a guard and opened fire outside a Chilean market on Monday.
The incident occurred in Santiago’s Lo Valledor market and was filmed on live broadcast.
The woman was shown on video being led out of the market while in police custody.
A guard and a videographer were among those injured.
The cameraman was rushed to the hospital with significant injuries and is in stable condition, according to the national newspaper La Nación.
