Wizkid all but ended any talks of a feud and rivalry with Davido when he promoted his new album, Timeless on his Twitter and Instagram pages.
In a terse message, Wizkid urged his fans to listen to the 17-track album which Davido’s fourth studio album since he began singing in 2012.
“Y’all go listen to timeless by my brother, Davido,” he wrote.
Timeless has been gaining rave reviews since it was released barely 48 hours ago, reaching number one in many countries.
The album reportedly reached 1,000, 000 streams in the first six hours of its release on Spotify and over 3, 000, 000 on Boomplay NG.
According to Africa Facts Zone, Davido’s Timeless album is number one in the UK, UAE, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Qatar, Oman, Benin, Cameroon, Cyprus, Cote d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Ireland, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria and Uganda on Apple Music.
The album is number three in USA and Canada on Apple Music.
Davido who lost his three-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke in November 2022 expressed both his artistry and grief in the album that features Grammy award-winning African singer Angélique Kidjo, Nigerian rapper Skepta, and Jamaica’s Dexta Daps.
Some of the songs on the Timeless album are Over Dem, Feel, In the Garden feat. Morravey, Godfather, Unavailable feat. Musa Keys, Feel, and Kante.
