The Economic and Finance Crimes Commission (EFCC) has called on the general public to disregard information circulating on social media that it’s currently recruiting.

In a statement released by the commission’s head of media and publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, the commission claims the information is the handiwork of fraudsters.

According to Uwujaren, “The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is currently not recruiting. The public is therefore advised to disregard information circulating in social media purporting the commencement of EFCC’s 2023 online recruitment from July 4th, 2023. The information, which is the handiwork of fraudsters, advises prospective applicants to click a link (https//spukd.com/EFCC-2023-Recruitment-Portal
