Troops from Operation Hadarin Daji apprehended three bandits in an ambush at the Anka-Dan Kapani crossing in Zamfara’s Anka Local Government Area on Sunday.
Maj.-Gen. Musa Danmadami, Director, Defence Media Operations, announced this in an Abuja statement on Sunday.
The military also found one PKT gun with 48 rounds of 7.62mm x 54 ammo, three AK 47 rifles, three magazines with 63 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, and three motorbikes, according to Danmadami.
“The military high command commends troops and encourages the public to provide credible and timely information on terrorist and other criminal activities in their area,” he added.
