    Tinubu assures Yahaya Bello of victory

    The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has assured the incumbent Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello of the party’s victory in the forthcoming election.

    Bello who is seeking a second term in office and on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the former Lagos governor as part of consultation with party leaders.

    In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, Mr. Bello was accompanied by state APC chairmen past and present.

    “Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello pays Visit to The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, His Excellency Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu today.

    “The Governor who was accompanied by the current state party chairman and the former chairman of the party, Hon Abdullahi Bello and Hadi Ametuo had political discussions with the Jagaban of Borgu Kingdom which lasted for more than an hour.

    “The Jagaban assured that the APC will win the November 16 polls in Kogi State,” the statement.
