Styl-Plus, Mayorkun, and YKB are set to perform at the GOtv Boxing Night on December 26.
Flykite Productions, organisers of the event, in a statement, said the show will be held at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.
MC Lively, the comedian, will also perform alongside the music stars at the 32nd edition of the event.
The organisers said the night will feature a blend of thrilling boxing action and premium entertainment and live performances.
Speaking about the event, Bamidele Johnson, chief executive officer of Flykite Productions, said the inclusion of Style-Plus is aimed at elevating the experience for fans.
“GOtv Boxing Night is a unique mix of sport and entertainment,” Johnson said.
“Adding Style-Plus to the lineup ensures that attendees enjoy an unforgettable evening of music, laughter, and boxing excitement.”
Styl-Plus is a Nigerian R&B and pop music group. The founding members were Shifi Emoefe, Tunde Akinsanmi, Yemi Akinwonmi, and Lanre Faneyi. The name STYL is an abbreviation of the founders’ first names.
In 1998, Faneyi died, and Zeal Onyecheme joined the group. This led to the group being renamed Styl-Plus, the ‘Plus’ denoting the new addition to the group.
In 2002, Akinwonmi left the group with Akinsanmi following suit 10 years later, leaving Shifi and Zeal who currently act as the flag bearers of the group.
GOtv Boxing Night 32 is sponsored by GOtv. The event will be broadcast live on SuperSport channels in over 50 African countries.
