Kiriku, an infamous Commander of the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP), has reportedly died after he was bitten by a poisonous snake in the Sambisa forest of Borno State.
According to sources, Kiriku was bitten twice by a ‘highly venomous’ brown snake last Tuesday in one of their hideouts near Agikur Mosque in Damboa Local Government Area.
The infamous ISWAP Commander, who died on June 23, 2023, three days after the incident, is reported to have died owing to a lack of medical treatment.
