The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated David Adeleke (Davido) and Chioma Adeleke over their traditional marriage held on Tuesday.
Sanwo-Olu, in a statement on X on Wednesday, wished the couple “a lifetime of togetherness and success.”‘
The governor, who was also in attendance at the ceremony, celebrated the love story of the couple, which he described as “heartening.”
“Congratulations to Davido and Chioma on their beautiful union,” Sanwo-Olu wrote.
“The assurance of your love story is heartening, and I am happy to celebrate with you both on this joyous occasion.
“May your life together be abundant with blessings, love, and joy. I wish you a lifetime of togetherness, success, and serenity for your family,” he added.

The couple, prior to this, has been bleeping with twin children after the demise of their first son, Ifeanyi, who tragically drowned in a swimming pool.
