The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has proclaimed “indefinite and total strike action.”
This is said in a statement released on Tuesday evening, in which the resident doctors also listed demands such as quick payment of the 2023 MRTF, immediate publication of the circular on one-for-one replacement, and payment of skipping arrears, among others.
The strike action follows the Speaker of the House of Representatives’ request not to go on strike during a meeting with the group on Monday.
