Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja has refuted a supposed medical report indicating that actress Regina Daniels has been suffering from acute substance usage.
According to the viral story, Daniels was diagnosed with a chemical use disorder and will begin a home-based rehab program on September 24, 2025.
The document was signed by Adekunle Adesina, the hospital’s managing director and head of clinical services.
However, on Thursday, the hospital issued a statement saying that the report did not come from them.
“Our attention has been drawn to a post on an alleged midterm home detox report being circulated online in the name of Serenity Royale Hospital with respect to Nwoko Regina.
“We wish to state clearly that the publication and circulation of the said post containing classified information did not emanate from us and respectfully request the public to disregard the same,” the disclaimer read.
Earlier this week, Laila Charani, one of Ned Nwoko’s wives, accused Daniels on Instagram of exposing her to drugs and alcohol, which she claims nearly wrecked her marriage six years ago. She pushed Daniels to pursue his therapy while emphasizing Nwoko’s opposition to substance abuse.
“You also know that my husband completely hates alcohol, drugs, and smoking. He has always been clear that he would never accept any wife who drinks, smokes, or uses drugs. The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction. It has always been a serious matter for him. My husband’s quick insistence on intervention rescued me from that dark path,” she said.
Prior to the disclosure, Charani had been concentrating on family life, sharing photos and videos of her family with Nwoko, including a vacation video captioned: “Too busy building my peace, life, and family; no time for anything else.”
Meanwhile, Daniels continued to confront her estranged husband online, writing, “My ex-man never slept outside for one day of our seven years of marriage because, as a Delta babe, I held him well in the other room.”
