The founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar about an alleged plot against his life, urging him to strengthen his security and exercise caution, particularly when travelling by air.
Ayodele issued the warning in a prophecy shared on X on Sunday, claiming that some individuals were planning to harm the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate.
The cleric also cautioned Atiku against possible aviation-related dangers, claiming he foresaw an emergency landing involving an aircraft.
According to him, the former vice-president should remain vigilant and pay closer attention to his personal safety and movements.
“They want to execute you; protect yourself with bulletproof and be watchful while using flight to avoid a technical emergency landing,” Ayodele said.
The cleric also mentioned President Bola Tinubu and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, saying both politicians were prepared for the political contest ahead of the 2027 general election.
“Tinubu is ready for the game, and Obi is ready to embarrass you,” he added.
Ayodele’s Previous Prophecy About Tinubu
The latest warning comes weeks after Ayodele made another controversial prediction concerning President Tinubu’s potential second term in office.
In September, the cleric predicted that Tinubu might not complete a second presidential term if re-elected in 2027, drawing a comparison with former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, who died in office.
“If Tinubu wins the second time, he will not finish it. I stand by my word, he will not finish it. What happened to Yar’Adua or whatever that will make him not to finish it will lead to an emergency government; making Shettima take over from him might happen,” Ayodele said.
He further alleged that people surrounding the President were preventing him from receiving honest advice.
“People surrounding Tinubu don’t want him to hear the truth. They don’t want him to hear people like us,” he added.
Ayodele maintained that his prediction was not a curse, insisting that time would determine its outcome.
The cleric is known for his annual prophecies covering Nigerian politics, security and international affairs.
