Prayers can’t solve hardship, Nigerians chose bad leaders – Primate Ayodele

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele on Tuesday said fasting and prayers won’t be able to solve the economic hardship in Nigeria because leaders are the problems of the country.

Primate Ayodele said God isn’t listening to Nigerians on the issue of hardship anymore because the people elected the leaders that are now making life difficult for them.

In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele said Nigerians have failed to listen to the truth and God will not come down to help the country solve economic hardship if the leaders don’t do the right thing.

He mentioned that anyone that says Nigerians should pray to solve hardship is only deceiving himself.

According to Primate Ayodele: ‘’We have failed to follow reality, anyone who says we should pray to solve hardship is only deceiving Nigerians. God is not listening to Nigerians on the issue of hardship any longer.

“We don’t listen to the truth and we are far away from it. God will not come down to make things for us, the system is shutting down but God will not come down to help us.’’

The man of God explained that God warned Nigerians against voting another APC government, but they didn’t listen. Therefore, Nigerians are facing the consequences of disobedience.

“God warned us but we didn’t follow his will so we have to face the consequence of our disobedience which is hardship and anguish, we are only paying for our disobedience.’’

Continuing, Primate Ayodele asserted that if the government organizes millions of prophets to pray about hardship, nothing will happen because the issues at hand are results of human errors and incapacity.

“Let the government organize 10 million prophets, Islamic clerics and traditional rulers to pray about what is happening, nothing will change except the leaders do the right thing and all that is needed. Let’s stop deceiving ourselves with prayers, every sector is a mess, people have been praying and fasting but nothing is happening.

“The issues we are facing are the result of human errors and incapacity; we can’t solve these issues through fasting and prayers. Nigerian problems have passed what prayers can solve,’’ he added.
