Pope Francis will leave the hospital on Sunday and return to his apartment in the Vatican, where he will spend “at least two months” resting, one of his doctors disclosed.
The 88-year-old pontiff has been in Rome’s Gemelli hospital since February 14, when he was admitted for breathing issues and later battled pneumonia in both lungs.
The Vatican said that the pontiff will wave and bless on Sunday.
